cyb > Motorcycles > Solo Nevada High Desert Run
After running the Jungo Road from Gerlach to Winnemucca, I decided to see if I could reach my Dad's ranch which is in the heart of the high desert hills about 60 miles due North (as the crow flies) from Gerlach... so essentially coming almost all the way back West from Hwy 140 from the East on all dirt roads through the high desert mountains and hills. It was a fun mini-adventure and true dual-sporting on my Triumph Tiger

cyb > Heading down the valley on 140 into Oregon and Adel in the distance. This spot was where 31+ years ago I was driving here going up this grade and a 18-wheeler truck had gone off the steep edge. I was the first person on the scene and the driver had miraculously survived and was sitting on the road edge, truck upside down and hooked on a solitary rock a few hundred feet down on an otherwise certain death high steep slope . I took him back to Lakeview to a hospital and never finished my drive. Now I have. Had a great ride home to Seattle - the same day.
